The Case for Scroll-Driven Storytelling

Scroll storytelling fails when it's decorative. It succeeds when the motion carries meaning: revealing hierarchy, sequence, or cause and effect.

I storyboard scroll sequences the way a film editor storyboards a scene, frame by frame, before a single line of GSAP is written.

The tell of good scroll design: turn off the animation entirely, and the content still reads perfectly in order.
